How long does the procedure take?
Performing the procedure is relatively fast. About 10 min. But it is important to spend some time beforehand to plan, undergo a consultation, medical examination and anesthetics.
Is it painful?
The nose surprisingly is not a painful area. The one exception is the nose tip. Your practitioner will use strong pain killers however to make sure you are very comfortable.
Dermal fillers don't hurt but you may experience minor discomfort when the needle is first administrated. If you are sensitive to pain we can apply numbing cream to the area. After numbing the area, small amounts of dermal filler are injected on and around your nose.
How long will it take to show results
Using the more viscous dermal fillers, the average longevity is 9-12 months. But it can last years. You should notice instant results after your treatment. However, the dermal fillers are designed to take full effect gradually over the course of about 10 days so you will be able to see a big difference after this period of time.
After your treatment
Avoid pressure on your nose for at least five days. We recommend sleeping on your back or in a reclining chair.
You should avoid sun exposure, tanning treatments, chemical peels and laser treatments for a minimum of a week following your treatment to avoid any inflammation or possible scarring.
